For those of you who have built a new home in the past, I am enlisting your help. What is one thing you wish someone had told you before you built? Was it a tip on how to choose a builder? Or, to get something in writing before you began? Or, perhaps you would recommend a particular flooring choice or lot size? I want to know your best new home building tip – anything at all! Leave your comments here – I’d love to know what you learned during your building experience!
interior designers are available to help you on your do-it-yourself project? We realize that not everyone needs full service interior design – where we coordinate the installation, product ordering and project management for you. Perhaps you just need a little help in knowing where to start. What paint colors should you choose? What about furniture arrangement? What about designing that new tile backsplash for your kitchen? Give us a call! A few hours of design time can save you lots of money and time in the end; having to repaint the entire basement because you hate the color is not going to make your husband a happy man. We can save you that aggravation; we can provide a simple consultation, or we can also provide product and/or installation services. Whatever portion of your project you need help with, we are happy to be there for you. Have you ever used an interior designer and were so happy you did? Or, did you regret NOT using a designer on your last project? We would love to hear your design project stories – leave a comment here! We hope to hear from you soon!
I have been working on a new construction project for nearly a year. It’s not often that I have the opportunity to work on a new home in the Victorian style! My clients have been fantastic to work with, and I have enjoyed the entire process. The home is being built by Landsted, LLC, in Hudson, WI. What a joy to see it come together! Take a sneak peek at some of the pics I just snapped – the home is scheduled to be completed at the end of the month, and I will take some finished shots to share with you all. The home is equipped with the latest in green technologies, allowing the lucky homeowners to drastically cut their heating and cooling bills, save water and reduce their overall energy consumption. Even the granite used in the home has been harvested within 500 miles of the home. I’ll have more information on the details of the home when I post photos of the completed project. Let me know what you think so far!
