Teri Larsen, ASID, has been an interior designer for over 12 years. After earning her BFA in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI, she started her career in commercial design. During that time, Teri enjoyed working on projects ranging from medical offices and tenant improvement to restaurants and senior housing. Most recently she has concentrated on residential interior design, but continues to do small commercial projects, as well. Her specialties include new construction and remodeling projects, as well as smaller consultations and window treatments. Teri sums up her design philosophy this way:
“I believe good interior design should be accessible to everyone, not just the very wealthy. I do my best to save my clients money whenever possible, and find the very best solutions to their design needs. I listen to your needs, and find out what you like best, so I can design your space to fit YOUR style and your life – not mine. ”
Teri is a Professional Member of ASID, as well as a Wisconsin Registered Interior Designer, having passed the NCIDQ exam in 2002. Her work has been featured in several local magazines and on the Ava Living website. She currently writes a monthly design column for Valley Women & Beyond magazine.
In addition to running T. Larsen Design LLC, Teri is active in her community. She is the Treasurer of her local Friends of the Library Group and volunteers her time with both her children’s school and their church. Her husband is a teacher in the St. Croix Valley area. In her free time, Teri enjoys camping, biking, reading and arts & crafts.
