Spring Preview 2013: Minnetonka Masterpiece

I had so much fun working on this modern masterpiece on Lake Minnetonka…

The home was built by Landsted, based in Hudson, WI, and it is gorgeous.  They were fortunate to be selected as a “Dream Home” this year, so bring $5 for your entry fee (donated to the Builders Assoc of the Twin Cities Foundation) if you plan to visit!  The home will be open at Thursday through Sunday for 2 more weekends – don’t miss it.

In our neck of the woods, ultra-contemporary homes are few and far between.  I enjoyed working with the homeowners to help them create something new and different for the area.  From the ebony-stained hickory floors and custom tile work to the stone walls and lacquered cabinetry, this home is truly a masterpiece of modern design.

Special thanks to Scott with Rosenthal Furniture in Minneapolis for providing some wonderful furnishings and artwork, as well as Ruth with Seasons on St. Croix art gallery in Hudson, WI, for providing gorgeous glass and sculpture pieces.  Their help was tremendous in pulling everything together!

The Minneapolis Star Tribune did a wonderful article on the home, highlighting many of the features.  Take a peek at the Landsted Facebook page for more photos…and let me know what you think!

Wow Teri! It is gorgeous! I’m sure it was a great experience working on this project. I saw a link posted by Seasons too. So awesome that they will get exposure as well.
