Before & After – Windows!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again:  the power of a little fabric at a window is amazing!  I have been working on a new construction Victorian home – from start to finish.  We just installed some dramatic drapery panels on a mitered wood rod in their dining room.  The flocked fabric is so luxurious and decadent!  We also put in some simple upholstered cornices in the sunroom – a more casual space.  Let me know what you think!

Please let me know where you bought the Flocked faux silk fabric drapes in your dining room and how much you spent for them ?I love it.

    • So glad you like them! I had this window treatment made and installed for a client, so unfortunately, this isn’t my house. (I wish!) The fabric is from Kasmir Fabrics, a trade-only supplier of fabrics. We interlined the panels, so they would have more “body”. I believe the entire treatment was about $2700 – but much of that was labor to install the mitered wood rod, and the hardware itself. The fabric is reasonably priced, and we didn’t need too much of it, as we just made side panels, not a full drapery.

I could get more details, along with a price on the fabric, if you are interested. We can supply you with fabric, or even finished panels, if you like, and have them shipped anywhere. Thanks for your comment!
